Sideshow Dinosauria
I was extremely fortunate to be able to a paint serveral of Sideshow Collectables' Dinosauria statues. The pieces shown were sculpted by Jorge Blanco and are some of the coolest and some of my favorite dinosaur sculptures out there. Truly a pleasure!

Don Lanning Creature
I love this personal take on the Creature from the Black Lagoon. The extra attention to sharpening and texture on what were always traditionally smooth areas jazz up the character without losing the classic form. Painted this for Adam (Kreature Kid) last year.

Rock'em Sock'em Robots
An idea I've had for a long time is to re-do the classic 60's toy into a more realistic version by adding alien pilots and their cockpits to create a sci-fi chariot battle scene. The robots are original toys with a few additions, mainly struts and cables inside the arms and of course the chariot set up. I tried to stay with the retro rivet styling and even made the aliens' controlers to resemble the thumb button ones from the original game. It's a fun piece and just shows how some things never die.

A Few Big Heads
I've been very fortunate to be able to work with Mark Brokaw and Earthbound Studios. His Bighead series of 1950's B-movie monster busts are a real favorite of mine. It seems like almost yesterday I was planted in front of the TV watching these movies on "Science Fiction Theatre" with our Horror Host of the day, Count Sven during the early to mid 1960's. Here's a few for starters including a couple pictures of the Invasion of the Saucermen display at Wonderfest a few years ago.
